2024 Miss Chinese Toronto Pageant
1. 您如何定義成功？你會如何達到你所定義的成功？
我對成功的定義是能夠更全面地支持我的家人、朋友和世界。無論是透過在義工活動中擔任學生導師，還是支持慈善和非營利機構，我希望透過繼續回饋社區，成為他們可以依靠的人。
2. 生活中保持動力的方法？
我的家人讓我在日常生活中充滿動力和靈感。他們灌輸努力工作、堅持不懈和關心他人的集體主義價值到我所做的每一件事。 感謝他們對我的教育、職業和未來的所有投資。
3. 如果有機會成立一個慈善機構，你會關注甚麼議題？
我會專注於幫助貧困兒童和學生，讓他們有機會建立更美好的未來！這個機構將提供免費的輔導服務、職業指導及擁有優質性能的手提電腦等資源使用權，讓他們能夠做到最好的工作。
4. 有哪一項家庭傳統，你會想傳承給子女？
我很高興能夠傳承的家庭傳統包括吃兩頓生日晚餐，一頓在美味的餐廳，一頓自製的海鮮、鮑魚等，這要感謝我的媽媽！我希望有一天能夠學習她所有的食譜，這樣我也可以為我的孩子做美味的生日晚餐和日常餐點。
5. 10 歲時的你對參選華姐有甚麼想法？
10歲的我非常害羞，如果我能參加多倫多華裔小姐競選，我會感到驚訝又自豪；帶着堅毅的信念去追求兒時的夢想 <3
1. How do you define success? How would you achieve the success you have defined?
My definition of success means being able to better support my family, friends and the world around me in a better. I would achieve success by continuing to give back to my community and grow as an individual they can lean on, whether it be through volunteering as a mentor for students or supporting charitable and non-profit causes.
2. How do you stay motivated and inspired in your daily life?
My family keeps me motivated and inspired in daily life. Their collectivist values of hard work, perseverance, and care are instilled in everything I do. I’m grateful for all their investment in my education, career, and future.
3. If you had the opportunity to establish a charitable organization, what issue would you focus on?
I would focus on helping underprivileged children and students so they have the opportunity to build a brighter future! This could mean offering free tutoring services, career coaching and access to resources like powerful laptops so they can do their best work.
4. Any family traditions that you would like to pass on to your next generation?
Family traditions I am excited to pass down include having two birthday dinners, one at a delicious restaurant and a homecooked one with seafood, abalone and more - thanks to my mom! I hope to learn all her recipes one day so I can cook amazing birthday dinners and everyday meals for my children too.
5. What would your 10-year-old self-think about you participating in the Miss Chinese Toronto pageant?
My very shy 10-year-old self would be surprised but proud that I’m participating in the Miss Chinese Toronto Pageant; taking the leap of faith to pursue a childhood dream <3
6. 你最期待每天生活中的哪一部分？
我期待週末的到來，有更多的時間與家人、朋友和自己共度時光！閒聊在多倫多所有令人驚嘆的餐廳及購物，輕鬆度過一天！
7. 哪些活動 (例如：聽歌、閱讀) 能讓你平靜下來？
聆聽各種類型的音樂，與朋友敞開心扉聊天，讓我在生活中保持平靜和輕鬆。
8. 你認為自己是「E人」 (外向的人) 還是「I人」 (內向的人)？請舉一例子。
我認為自己是個內向的人。在成長過程中，我喜歡靜靜地沉醉在故事和書籍中，同時幻想未來想探索的一切！
9. 如果你有機會和歷史人物對話，你會選擇誰？會問他/她甚麼問題？
我很想與戴安娜王妃交談，因為她的善良和投入於慈善工作。而且，她曾經也是個超級害羞的孩子，這點我可以理解她！ 我會向戴安娜提出的問題是：你如何增強自信？最終激勵世界並提高人們對人道主義的認識？
10. 如果你是一件藝術品，你認為你會以甚麼形式或風格呈現？
我會採用後印象派藝術的風格，因為它專注於透過色彩和光線描繪自然。我也喜歡花時間在大自然或在植物園中散步閒逛，更會沉迷於欣賞星星。 我最喜歡的藝術作品是梵谷的《星夜》。
6. What part of your daily life do you look forward to the most?
I look forward to the weekend - having more time spending with family, friends and myself! It's the best time for a relaxing day of chatting, shopping and eating at all the amazing restaurants Toronto has to offer!
7. What activities, such as listening to music or reading, help you feel calm and relaxed?
Listening to all types of music and chatting with kind friends with an open-heart keep me calm and relaxed in life.
8. Do you consider yourself an extrovert or an introvert? Please provide an example.
I consider myself an introvert. Growing up, I loved quietly getting lost in stories and books while daydreaming about the future and everything I wanted to explore!
9. If you had the opportunity to have a conversation with a historical figure, who would you choose? What question would you ask him or her?
I would love to speak with Princess Diana, because of her kindness and charitable work. Moreover, once a super shy kid, I can relate to her! My question to Diana would be: How were you able to grow your confidence; ultimately inspiring the world and raising awareness of important humanitarian causes?
10. If you were a piece of art, what form or style do you think you would take? Why?
I would take the style of Post-Impressionist art given its focus on nature depicted through colour and light. I too love spending time on nature walks, in botanical gardens and being mesmerized by the stars. My favourite piece of art during this era is The Starry Night by Van Gogh.
